Job Description

ForceBrands--BevForce, FoodForce, BeautyForce –the only recruiting agency that specializes in hiring strategies for passion brands in the food, beverage and beauty industries is seeking a high-performing Editorial Manager to join our small but mighty Marketing Team.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills, proven experience building a content strategy and management of freelance writing talent.

As the Editorial Manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. If you are an expert in content optimization, conducting professional interviews and have an interest in the food, beverage and beauty industries, this is an excellent opportunity to build an editorial platform for ForceBrands, BevForce, FoodForce, BeautyForce.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Brainstorm, pitch, research, and write multiple stories per day for ForceBrands properties – BevForce,FoodForce and BeautyForce, with a focus on industry thought leaders, company cultures, career insights.
  • Oversee day-to-day production of content and lead daily, weekly, and monthly content planning
  • Conduct original reporting and interviewing to produce in-depth features
  • Line edit content submitted freelancers
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Associate to monitor performance of all content on site, using data to inform future content decisions and strategy
  • Closely follow and read all relevant industry media
  • Attend and report on events on behalf of ForceBrands
  • Manage and contribute to audience and traffic growth through social media marketing, content partnerships, and more.
Job Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience writing/editing/blogging for an online publisher
  • Experience with setting content strategy and building a content team
  • A knack for turning around clean, witty, accurate copy
  • A healthy obsession with social and digital media
  • Super strong writing and communication skills
  • An ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • A talent for adapting to a constantly changing digital landscape
  • HTML and Photoshop skills are also a plus!
